Darryl is an Architecturally trained Engineer with over 25-years experience with Serving Sophisticated Clients.  His contracting experiences are rare to find in a single individual.  Having worked for demanding governmental clients such as HUD, the Army Corp of Engineers and the EPA, he has survived some of the most rigorous contracting environments imaginable and is now ready and prepared to work for you.

Darryl became interested in multi-media technologies at an early age when he began working with Audio/Visual (A/V) systems in his K-8 school as one of the schools A/V technicians responsible for everything from manning the public address system during assemblies to working with 16 and 35 mm film projectors for individual classes as well as school-wide assemblies.

While attending Technical School in Detroit, Michigan, where he received a Degree in Architectural and Construction Technologies, Darryl and a childhood friend formed a successful mobile DJ company.  During his continued education at St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he studied Business Management, Darryl worked as the school's sole A/V engineer supporting all of the college's choirs and mobile bands.

Immediately after college, Darryl began working for a Design-Build Mechanical and Electrical contractor.  His design work at this firm grew from his initial knowledge of A/V systems to more complex permanently installed systems including but not necessarily limited to building and systems automation, heating and cooling, process piping, plumbing, life safety systems, power wiring and most all other systems involved in complex buildings.  Among the projects Darryl worked on are numerous hospitals and other healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, manufacturing plants, educational facilities and houses of worship.

During the past 25-years, Darryl has maintained a level of perfection in his designs and projects he has administered which allowed his work on a repeated basis for many sophisticated clients including Orlando Utilities Commission (Florida), Wake Health Care Systems (North Carolina), Lincoln Properties, University of North Carolina and Duke University.

As a much sought after consultant, he has worked on projects in the states of Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.  Contract values have ranged from a few hundred dollars to $200 million.

Darryl's attitude is no project is too big or too small to warrant the exacting detail and expertise required by sophisticated clients.  He has often said, "A contract is a vote of confidence".
